More Smiles On Single Parent’s Kid’s Faces This Navidad-Our Cause 2017

Our modest goal is 25 huggable, lovable Teddy Bears for young needy kids of single parents in Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, Mexico at Christmas time 2016.  We saw a need to help a few families and then the interest and obvious needthumbnaillittlevillage grew.  We can do it bigger and better in 2017, but for now we just want to make a good start and leave a positive impression in 25 lives, or more if possible.
You can help us do more by visiting our donation site.  100% of all donations go directly to buying toys. You will receive photos and the names of the child(ren) you supported with your donation.  We hope you can help.

Here’s my story:

I saw a opportunity to create something larger and more meaningful in future years in local communities around the world. Local people acting locally, supported by others around the world. We can make a difference! My life changed after 6 years of leadership at a Canadian social enterprise non-profit helping people who truly benefited from the employment we created. Now if I see an opportunity and a need and people who agree with me and work with me, I  am inclined to try to create a Cause and build it. The entrepreneur in me, I guess, but in a social benefit vein.
